If you’re visiting Yorkshire for the first time, here’s my list of the top local cuisines you must try whilst your there. Oh and I’ve opted to list the lesser known options so sorry Yorkshire Puddings, as delicious as you are you didn’t quite make the cut!

How to spend a Weekend in the Lake District

How to spend a weekend in the lakes
I’m pretty fortunate to say I’ve always lived only a couple of hours drive from the Lake District, England’s biggest national park. Made up of a number of breathtakingly beautiful lakes, the county is also home to Scarfell Pike, England’s largest mountain which along with Ben Nevis (Scotland) and Snowden (Wales) makes up the UK’s 3 Peak Challenge.

The Lake District entices a vast amount of tourists each year inclusive of Hikers, Campers and Adventurers. The spectacular natural surroundings makes it one of my favourite places to holiday which is why I’ve collated a list of things not to be missed on your weekend to the Lakes.

Free-styling our trip got me thinking, how many people are comfortable to travel with no concrete itinerary? So here I’ve put together my top tips of how to plan for an unplanned trip abroad.

UK; Leeds, Visiting Slate NQ

Slate NQ Review
When it comes to bars Leeds manages to wow us all, new niches run along side chain franchises giving Leeds goers a vast array of choice when choosing their destination for the evening. This week it’s all about the new boys in town, introducing Slate NQ.

Slate NQ opened their doors Thursday night and I was lucky enough to pop along to their Launch Night. They put on a phenomenal show and gave their guests an evening filled with magic, laughter and Prosecco. The novel theme ran through the night and guests enjoyed trading their playing cards for drinks at the bar, a lovely touch!
