City Break, how to pack for a 2 night trip

The dreaded word, packing. Potentially the bain of every travellers life. But fear no more, here I’m going to attempt to guide you on how to pack accordingly for a 2 night city break.

First things first; check the current temperature of your destination (you don’t want to be taking your daisy dukes to Iceland) Ok, I’m going to take winter for example as I’m currently packing for Amsterdam.

1. Trousers: think versatile, choose one pair of trousers that will double up for the night with a good top.

2. Layers: one of the more important tips, put on a cami, jumper and then your coat. If for some freak reason the temperatures changes dramatically then your geared for all eventualities, well kind of.

3. Bottle: don’t go trying to cart your full tube of Wella shampoo and conditioner, it’s far more logical to buy some small containers from Boots, Primark or wherever, and fill it with a reasonable amount to get you by.

So your list of necessities:

4 tops (3day 1night), 1 pair of trousers, 1 pair of leggings, 1 coat, 1 dress, 3 sets of undies, 1 set of PJ’s & and limited array of toiletries. Oh and potentially one of the more useful accessories for when you just need to sleep (courtesy of Urban Outfitters):

Voila, and there you have it, how to pack light for your city break. Enjoy!

Wedding; Dad tied the knot.

Last month was chaotic, from wedding dress shopping to photo frame decorating we all jumped on board to help my Dad and, now Wife, prepare to tie the knot!

Having slightly neglected my blog over the last few months I felt I owed it the low down of the day.. or more importantly, the outfit!

Weddings are stressful, particularly for women looking to find that perfect dress, and no, I don’t even mean the bride! I mean the guests! .. I spent what felt like decades looking for the right dress, trying on frocks from the likes of Ted Baker, French Connection and Reiss yet failing epically. I enjoy a statement piece and so a neutral colour was not quite going to cut it. My search spanned over several weeks and covered numerous cities. London, Manchester and Newcastle had failed me.

An ‘Edge’ above; Product Review

Fashionita? In love with anything stylish, glamorous with an authentic uniqueness about it? Then you probably won’t be seen dead without a Jagger Edge cover for your beloved iPhone.

If your reading this and thinking Jagger Edge? What is that? Then god only knows where you’ve been hiding? Let me make this less painfully embarrassing for you.

Jagger Edge create chic iPhone and iPad cases to suit almost every style, it’s a girl must have and the latest in the fashion industry’s accessory craze. The legendry creators Alex Walker and Gina Klein-Yao are the amazing duo behind what we are now calling ‘The Techcessory’.

Jagger Edge tells us it was late 2010 that Alex and Gina coined the term ‘Techncessory’ and began the creation of covers for those with an acute sense of style whom pay close attention to bespoke detail.

Under each section Jagger Edge have created a haven for accessory lovers alike with my favourite collection being the V.I.P collection, standing for Very Important Purchase, clever ey? Producing a selection of items they in visualise will look first class against their world class covers.

Recently the girls have collaborated with Church Boutique creating a collection known as the Native Edge. The product is evocative in both aesthetic and fragrance stating that each soy based candle is scented with essential oils which are native to their favourite travel destinations.

This fresh brand is set to be a high flyer in its genre, with such a unique, creative team oozing passion and enthusiasm into each and every inch of their products it will only be a matter of time before Jagger Edge becomes a worldwide phenomenon.

Getting Creative.

I love messing around with photoshop.. can you tell?? .. I’ve made several banners recently for different project so thought I’d share them with you all :).
The first, being a banner for my photography projects. I like to keep to a theme, therefore I run the sketch theme throughout. Although I adapt sketches, again, I tend to run the theme of princess/fashion. Rebekah Esme Photography will be used in various locations on the web where my photography is present.
The Second image being my current header, a clean simple header used for my blog, I really like the simplicity of this.
My third and fourth headers are for a project I am currently working on, they retain my fashion theme however incorperate both sketch with a girlie font.

Sam’s Today Im Wearing Spoof!

Today I’m Wearing.. Leopard Print.

I love my little top come dress from Topshop. It buttons all the way down the front and is extremely diverse. I wore it with some black leggings and Patent effect shoes from Zara.

I love my little shoes.

The Pendent came from Istanbul, Turkey in April 2011. It’s a unique piece which is why I love it.

Today I’m Wearing.

Today I’m wearing a pair of Jester like leggings, bought last week from River Island. A sequin blouse, again from River Island, buttoning at the neck accompanied  by a Pins and Needles cardigan for Urban Outfitters. Along with the standard ballet pumps bought for £16 from Topshop.

I adore the feminine feel of this top, versatile, it can be worn as day wear, teamed with a knitted cardigan, or night, worn with a high weighted skirt, or legging and a blazer.

Pinstripe can be found all over the high street this season, with River Island (in my personal opinion) sporting the majority. They stock Blazers, Jeans, Leggings and tops of various varieties in pinstripe.

I can’t wait to debut these on a night out!
